Matt joined Brighton Corporation in 2000 to start and lead its Retail development division. Prior to joining Brighton Corporation, Matt worked in Arthur Andersen’s Hospitality and Valuation department in Los Angeles where he was primarily responsible for the evaluation of large development projects. After leaving Arthur Anderson he joined Hawkins-Smith. There he helped Walgreens penetrate the Utah market through site procurement and development. Since joining Brighton, Matt has been instrumental in developing many successful shopping centers with national tenants including Walgreens, Lowe’s, Bank of America, Radio Shack, Verizon, Gold’s Gym, and many others. Matt specializes in creating and executing on development opportunities. His expertise range from land procurement, lease negotiations, finance and project entitlement. Matt has a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance Emphasis, Magna Cum Laude, from Brigham Young University.
