Becky acquired her education in business management with courses taken at College of the Siskiyous, the University of Alaska and Boise State University in Idaho, and has over 25 years of experience in lending and development.
Beginning in 1977 with Scott Valley Bank in Yreka, California, Becky gained experience in commercial lending and support. By 1983 she was an Assistant Vice President in the commercial and construction lending departments at Alaska Mutual Bank in Anchorage. In 1988, her husband's aviation career moved the family to Sacramento, California and then to Washington, DC where she was successful in positions as an Assistant Vice President of Lending Support and Office Manager for two major corporations before moving to Boise in 1992. Becky then managed the business office of a local engineering firm through August 1997 when she joined Brighton Corporation.
Currently Becky is the point person for business administration and human resources at Brighton. Her duties include coordination and assigning lot sales/payoffs and title transfer. She provides quality assurance and works closely with field project manager during the platting process for infrastructure and residential development. Becky is a key player in architectural control for standardization and quality control in residential developments, and she is involved in managing homeowner association support. As the corporate secretary, Becky maintains strategic documents among the various Brighton entities and provides direct administrative support to the president.
Becky resides in Meridian with her husband, Ron, and is the proud parent of two grown daughters. She loves to spend time with her family, especially her three granddaughters and grandson. She also enjoys flying with her husband and friends and spending weekends at their cabin in the mountains.
