David Turnbull is the owner and CEO of Brighton Corporation and affiliated entities. Since joining Brighton Corporation in 1990, David has grown the company into Idaho’s leading developer of residential and commercial properties, with over 6,000 homes and two million square feet of commercial buildings developed in Boise, Meridian and surrounding communities.
Committed to Treasure Valley's planned growth, David actively participates in key business and government boards and committees. He has guided Brighton into a leadership position in the community, giving back through donations and improvements for important community projects such as Special Olympics, Boise Rescue Mission, Children’s Home Society, the West Boise and South Meridian YMCA, Boise City Aquatic Center, and several public schools and parks.
David graduated from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University in 1983. He and his wife, Kristin, have 4 children and reside in Eagle, Idaho.
Blake joined Brighton Corporation in 2008 to manage the company’s operational activities and financial portfolio. His professional experience includes over 20 years of public accounting, corporate finance and senior/executive level operational management.
His career in accounting began in 1985 with Arthur Andersen & Company in Salt Lake City. Blake’s analytical prowess combined with his organizational and people skills quickly elevated him to upper management. He has served as CFO, CEO and Controller for widely recognized companies such as H.J. Heinz Company, Norco Windows and Deluxe Ice Cream. Blake’s long-time friendship with David and his respect for the business was key to his decision to join Brighton Corporation, and turn his attention to real estate development.
Jon joined Brighton Corporation in 2014 to oversee land development and acquisition activities for the Company. Previously, Jon had worked for Brighton as a consultant, and was involved in many of the initial entitlement and development activities for some of the Company’s premier communities, including Harris Ranch, Heritage Commons, Paramount, Ashford Greens and the Victory Business Center. Jon has nineteen years in real estate development and homebuilding in Idaho, Utah and Florida, including his role as Division President for Woodside Homes, a top 30 national homebuilder. He has been involved in every facet of residential development and homebuilding, including: Acquisition, due diligence, feasibility, market analysis, entitlements, development, homebuilding operations, new home sales & marketing, and product design.
Lars joined the team in 2007 to develop and implement new strategies in residential development and product design to address an evolving marketplace. His role includes market research and analysis, product development and prototyping. Lars plays a major role in the quality of future developments as an integrated land planning and product development approach is pursued. He received the American Institute of Architects School Medal for Excellence in the Study of Architecture from the Univ. of Idaho in 1998 and is a Registered Master Builder (RMB), one of less than 20 in the state.
A natural team player with over 12 years experience in the homebuilding industry, Tina joined Brighton in 2010 to streamline processes. She is an effective team leader with a proven track record for improving systems and fine-tuning production schedules. Previously Tina worked in operational, administrative and HR management positions. She holds active Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) and Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certifications.
